Jesus' words found in Matthew 5:1-7:27 are some of the most insightful and challenging to people that claim to be followers of Christ. Jesus provides some insights into how living a life that is based upon Kingdom Living should look. Jesus challenged the Pharisees to think about the laws that they were imposing. Were the laws becoming a means of measuring up to being worthy to know God? Were the laws becoming a means to bind people?
Jesus offers a new and different way of living our lives. A way that stands in stark contrast to so much of what we see in the world around us today. Kingdom Living requires that we think less of ourselves and allowing God to transform us into His image by the power of His Holy Spirit residing in us.
